War - Know His Tactics, Temptaion
on November 3rd, 2021
Bob Murray - Pastor Matt is in a 5-week series entitled "War." This past Sunday (Week 3), he talked about the enemy's (Satan's) tactics of temptation. Matt began by noting we must remember that our enemy is a liar and tries to shackle us with lies, knowing that he truly doesn't have any legitimate power or dominion in the life of a Believer.   Read More

War - Know His Tactics, Deception
on October 27th, 2021
Randy Hagar - I have had a personal tragedy in my life lately. I lost my wife, Vicky, on September 20th. My enemy wants me to give up. My God says otherwise. I trust my God to see me through these tough times. He has and is comforting me. He has given me hope for the future. He has surrounded me with friends. He is supplying my needs. Satan does none of these things. Satan wants me to live in despair and suffering. My Lord is truly my peace and joy, and the Holy Spirit is my comforter.  Read More

War - Know Your Enemy
on October 20th, 2021
Robert Tyson - Matt started a new 5-week series, "WAR." It is a study about knowing your enemy. The origin of Satan, who he is, and what makes it so difficult not to be deceived by him. Matt jumps right in on this war. The supernatural realm that exists today is the Kingdom of Light and the kingdom of darkness. When I became a Christian, I was ignorant about spiritual warfare as I was trying to figure out how to study the bible, who I was, and what I was supposed to do. There was so much to learn about God, and I did not spend time reading about Satan. I wanted to know God! I knew that Satan was my enemy, but I did not put any time into studying him. Spiritual warfare was not preached about very much as most of the preaching was about sin. What was I doing wrong?! I felt like Wiley Coyote on the Roadrunner cartoon, just waiting on the next rock to fall on me. I was completely unaware of his schemes and did not even recognize that I was in a spiritual war. This, in fact, helped him in his deception. This is a bad combination for a Christian and/or for anyone. It will be a tough go for you if you don't know who he is, how he is working in this world, or even how he is functioning in this age. You will be tossed to and fro with every wind on doctrine by the sleight of men and their cunning and craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive (Ephesians 4:14).  Read More

If You Say So - To Others
on October 13th, 2021
Justin Magness - How do we as Christians deal with trouble in our life without distress? By the riches of God’s grace in our life through the finished work at the cross. We get to rejoice in hope of the Glory of God. (Romans 5:1-5) How do we as Christians not live in despair during times of unknown? By the peace of God that surpasses all knowledge and understanding. By the understanding that Christ shall be magnified in every circumstance. (Phil 4:1-9, Phil 1:19-21) How do we as Christians react when we are persecuted? By the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by the Holy Spirit that was fully poured into our hearts at Salvation. (Eph. 3:13-19)  Read More

If You Say So - To Your Kids
on October 6th, 2021
Jeff Woods - Train up a child in the way he should go: And when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6 KJV Or, as Pastor Matt perfectly put it, "Our responsibility is to raise our kids in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. God's promise is when they get old they will not depart from it." When I was growing up, anytime I actually went to my Mom for advice, she would often give it to me, but end with…" Have you gone to the Lord and asked him?"  Read More

If You Say So - To Your Spouse, Pt 2
on September 29th, 2021
Bill Morel - Most wedding days are glorious occasions with friends and family gathered to celebrate the union of two people. When we say those vows, we are pretty much committing to marrying each other no matter what mistakes we make or issues we have. Do you take this woman, in sickness and in health, rich or poor, right?  Read More
