The Suffering Savior

At Christmas time, we expect Jesus in a manger and the peaceful scene of the angels, shepherds, Mary, and Joseph. But this scene doesn’t speak of the Messiah Isaiah describes as a “man of sorrows…acquainted with grief.” Who is this man of sorrows and what does His suffering mean for us?
