Love One Another
on February 1st, 2022
Randy Hagar - I was asked to give one last elder word. I resigned two weeks ago as an elder. My wife unexpectedly passed away on September 20th. I have sold my house in TXK and bought a house in Ozark, Arkansas, where my daughter Rachel, her husband David, and my grandson Jacob live. I needed to be closer to my family. My biggest regret in leaving Texarkana was leaving behind my church family.  Read More

Old Made New - New Name
on January 26th, 2022
Bill Morel - Do we believe we are Saints? Growing up in church as kids, we would sing "Jesus Loves Me" all the time. We believed that was true "because the Bible tells me so." How then is it so hard for us to believe that he truly did give us a new name? I think it's because we believed what the adults taught us as children and took it as fact. After all, we had faith in them to not lead us wrong. However, as adults, we tend to overthink, over-analyze, and often over-spiritualize biblical truths because we can't fathom that it truly is as simple as the Bible says it is.  Read More

We say things like, “I hope the weather cooperates today.” …or “I hope 2022 is a better year than 2021.” …or “I hope I can find a different job.” So often when we use the word hope in these instances, we are merely wishfully thinking that something might turn out the way we want.  Read More

Gaudy Christmas - Gaudy Peace
on December 22nd, 2021
Will Huddleston - Maybe, many of you were also confused for years regarding what peace with God means. I heard and believed that God fully forgave me, and once I believed, I was in the hand of God and nothing could remove me from His grasp. Yet, while God loved me immensely, there were steps and behaviors I needed to take for God to be pleased with me. Then I could be in a place of rest with Him. Obedience isn't and never will be what brings a state of rest in His peace. God doesn't need us to do anything...He has already accepted us into the beloved, making us blameless and Holy through His Son Jesus and His sacrifice for those that believe.  Read More
